Coley Webb Named WES Principal

April 28, 2020

WCSD is excited to inform you that at the April 27, 2020, Board of Education Meeting, Mr. Coley Webb was appointed to the position of Elementary Principal. This decision was made after an internal interview process with all stakeholder groups represented (administration, teachers, support staff, parent and student). Mr. Webb started with us on September 27, 2019, as Elementary Assistant Principal/Instructional Coach and hit the ground running.

Mr. Webb earned his bachelor’s degree in Printing Management from Rochester Institute of Technology and immediately began working for USA Today. He earned his initial teaching certification from Roberts Wesleyan College. His first full-time teaching position was in 4th grade at Northstar Christian Academy. During this time, Mr. Webb stayed at Roberts to earn his Master of Education degree and a second initial certification in Special Education.

Moving into public school as a 5th grade teacher in the Pavilion Central School District, Mr. Webb served that district for 13 years. He attended SUNY Brockport and earned his Certificate of Advanced Study and School Building Leader Certification.

Mr. Webb brings diverse experience in education, a clear vision and the unwavering character to lead our Elementary School toward great things. We are very excited to be able to welcome Mr. Webb as our new Elementary Principal!
